Fort Paull
2006
Hosted by Yancs
I managed to get a lie in and woke around 9am,  but it once I'd come round it was time to get the car
ready for the show field, so out with the cleaning gear and armed with a brew made the effort and
cleaned the Edsel, and just as I finished it started raining (Bloody Typical) so out with  the towels when
it stopped and dried off again and onto the field, the show is held inside the Fort itself and makes an
interesting backdrop.
It was already filling up and by midday the numbers were well up on last year( A big thank you to those
that made the effort) Parked the car up and started to clean the wheels and brightwork and it started to
rain again, only a shower but out with the towels and dried off again.
An hour later and back at camp Lisa had made breakfast and very welcome it was too. After a clean
up and shower it was back to the showfield to play with my new toy ( I got christened "Paparazzi
Chris" over the weekend but I'm sure the novelty will wear off soon lads ). It was nice to sit down at the
fort's café at just relax and soon it was time for prize giving.

The diversity of vehicles is huge at Fort Paull and makes the show all the better,  as looking at row after
row of late model Pick-Ups, Pontiac's and Mustangs is not really my cup of tea but that's not to say
they aren't part of this hobby as all vehicles have a place within in it.
As you will know I appreciate all makes and models and although loyal too Ford I have owned various
other makes over the years.
To all the folks who have organised, helped out at and generally
ensured that I had a great time at each show I have been to this
season I say a massive THANK YOU it has been a hell of a year.
Thanks to all of you who have read and commented on my reports hopefully
they will improve in 2006

And for those that I won't see before the end of year festivities may I wish you
all a safe and sound 2006 and have a great New Year. Here's to 2007 and
another fantastic season
