Wakefield Cruise
February 2007
Leaving a foggy Manchester around 6:30 pm we arrived at the Westgate Retail
park at 7:30pm.
Once on the M62 the fog cleared ensuring a clear run over the Penines.
It was already well under way with a very good turnout from the  "Northern
Devils" PT Cruisers club.
There were a few late model yanks and a solitary rod. All in all a good turnout for
a cold night and after a couple of hours some of us headed off to the Redbeck
Cafe for something to eat and a warm drink.
So if you are stuck with nothing to do on the first Saturday of the month then
head on over to Wakefield your sure of a big Yorkshire welcome.
I remember working on
this Chevy a long time ago
Lonely "Hotrod" looks
like an early Hillman.
Sounded sweet as well
Diversity thats what
I like about Cruises
you get a little bit of
everything turning
up from late model
pickups to classic 50's
There was an excellent
turnout of "PT Cruisers"
complete with the
obligatory light show.

A lot of work goes into
these cars a fact that is
not always appreciated by
fellow show exhibitors,
A few of the Hardy souls
that made  it this month
.
Maybe we'll see you there next month ..March 3rd
It was good to see this Chevy back out
after the accident lasy yea
